As the subject says, Can PLEG change a Multiswitch button text to the value of a State Variable? If I add an advanced action specifying ButtonNames I have no text box for entering any value. It may be a MultiSwitch issue but is there any kind of workaround available? I guess it cant be done with LUUP code, since it wont allow me to access the state variable or am I wrong?
The issue with changing the button name in vera will cause it to reload the Vera engine. This is because there is no easy dynamic way to do this. In other words Vera will need to reload it’s data when you want to dynamically change the button. This can have a negative effect on vera when it comes to running any type of automation. So take this in to consideration for what you want to do.

Seems like everything causes Vera to reload. I was going out yesterday afternoon so changed socks and Vera reloaded ![]()
