Can not remove camera device

Hello

some time ago I installed the IP camera plugin to test a camera.
I added a camera device and all worked ok.

I do not have this camera anymore now and I wanted to clean up Vera to remove the camera device from the devices Tab.
But, when I delete it it doesnt remove, i get the error “command failed: invalid plugin”

So, the device stays listed in Vera but I want it removed.

Any hints?

Hello,

If you know the device_ID run the command below in your web browser.
Replace the local_Vera_IP and device_ID with information from your setup

http://<local_Vera_IP>:3480/data_request?id=device&action=delete&device=<device_ID>

I tried adding an IP Camera (Smarthome) and it failed miserably. However I cannot delete the device (U15), I do not have a device ID. Any help?

RandallK… run this http://ip_address:3480/data_request?id=sdata

Look at the data that is returned and you should be able to locate the device ID. There’s probably a better way of doing this but I’m a rookie.

And what the hell is with the security on this forum. I hate those type in the letters that are hardly visible!!
