Can my Vera Lite notify me when it loses connection to a device?

I logged into my Vera Lite the other day and noticed that one of my plug in lamp controllers had lost connection with the network. Is there a way to have my Vera Lite notify me when this happens?

I think your options are Vera Alerts, PLEG coding, ping sensor (not sure if you mean a wifi lamp controller), and AutoVera (possibly and used with Tasker).

Just my few ideas.
