Hi,
We are looking for advice on Fibaro switches and aeon micros switches. We are wiring our house for motorised blinds. The plan was to be able to manually control the blinds from standard 2 gang wall switch. There will be a live and neutral at each switch. We were going to use a fibaro switch wired to the 2 gang switch. One switch wired to S1 for “up” and the second switch wired to S2 for “down”. There will not be a load wired to the fibaro switch. Can the fibaro S1 and S2 inputs both be used in this way, ie a virtual input to the controller to active the relay controlling the blinds? The switch will not be located close to the blinds so to reduce wiring cost this was our plan. We were also going to use this to switch outside lights, landing/hallway lights from multiple locations without have to wire everywhere. So the two questions:
Can I use either the fibaro or aeon switch without a load? (If not would it be an option to wire a resistor to the output)
Can both S1 and S2 be used as virtual inputs to the controller to active scenes or relays?
If anyone could clarify this for us, if we get this wrong we will have switches that are of no use. Thanks.
