Can I use a switch as a relay to act as a dry contact?

I’m in the process of building an Arduino to control my blinds and want to add it to Zwave. The servo is controlled with 2 switches, one for each direction.

Is it possible to use a switch as a relay or do I need to add a 110v relay. Thinking of something like the one below

The only real difference between a switch and a relay is that the switch Z-Wave stuff is powered from the same line as the line you’re switching.

As long as you’re using a switch that requires a neutral, you should be able to use it to switch any 110V load.
