Can I use a Philips Hue lamp as trigger?

I am new to UI7 and just added all my devices.
Now what I want, and what I hoped was that there would be a random time setting in UI7.

I have a room with 1 Phulips Hue light and 2 Zwave switches. The switches must go on at sunset and go off between 23:00 and 24:00.
Unfortunately this seems to be impossible.

I searched for an app with “Random” but no results. I added DeusexmachinaII but I don’t think it can be used for this.

Now I see I can add Philips Hue to my VeraPlus, so I thought It might be possible to “slave” the switches to a Hue light.
The Hue light does support a random time in their app.

Does anybody know if it will be possible to use a Hue light as trigger, or knows an plugin/app which can do so? I don’t know how to use LUUP.

You can also give PLEG a try, a lot of possibilities, and random timers are also possible

Just to be sure: If a Hue lamp is turned on by the Hue bridge, my Vera can see this and trigger other actions?

Yes, if your Hue bridge will turn ON a hue light, it will update it’s status on Vera’s interface as well, which in turn will trigger your scene.

This sounds amazing!

Do I need the “Philips Hue” or the “Philips Hue 2” app for this.

In the meantime installed PLEG but I need a to read some manual before I can use this.
