Can bridged Veras be on different UIs?

After constructing an out-building that is 300 ft from my house, I will get a second Vera for control in that building. My plan is to put my Vera2 in the remote building, and buy a new Vera (presumably a Vera3 since the previously announced new models appear to be permanent vaporware). My question is this: Since the Vera2 is EOL on UI5 and the Vera3 will be UI6/7, will there be an problem bridging the two devices on different UI versions? Thanks.

They must be running the same firmware version.

Thanks for the response, Garrett.

I also emailed MCV tech support and received this answer: “We have tested this in our offices and there seem to be no issues in bridging two Vera units with different UI?s.” So, hopefully it will work.
