CA8900 thermostat - Does it send setpoint data back to Vera?

Mine does not appear to. I can set the setpoints through vera, but if I set them on the CA8900, Vera does not update with the new temperature. The current temperature from the sensor is coming across just fine.

If it’s supposed to be sending setpoints, or if Vera is supposed to be pulling them, what are some things to check?

I have the same issue. I wish that MIOS would update the thermosatat GUI when i make a change at the actual thermostat

I am having the same issue, does anyone know how to the thermostat to force an update to Vera…

I tried to force Vera to poll but the value still does not update on Vera

I am stuck I would like to know if someone changes the setpoint and then put it back to the correct value, but vera has no idea of the changed value, I must be missing something small.

any and all help appreciated

still no luck. I have tried all kinds of things and think it is just not possible ?

My personal CA8900 send the set point back to Vera when I change them at the unit but I have multiple clients where they are not. I have no idea what i did to make my own work and maybe someone can present some suggestions?

thanks

The CA8900 T-Stat does not support 2-way communications/instant status if you want to capture changes made at the T-Stat polling needs to be turned on. 8)

polling is turned on
