upgrading to vera2, UI4 for my small network composed of CA3000, CA5100, HA03, HA04 and HA09 and a kwikset lock:
a- exclude all devices from HA09 controller which used to be the primary controller
b- recreate new network including with vera1 Zstick
c- export netwrok to HA09 as secondary controller
d- run channel association of HA03 modules and CA3000 per HA09 instruction such as its button pairs control them directly - no vera in the middle
e- no problem using vera to create assocation of HA03 with CA5100 so I have on/off with CA5100, and thanks to d also control with HA09 remote (on/off and dim up/down)
I like this miniscene method better than having vera in the middle as described in
http://wiki.micasaverde.com/index.php/Intermatic_CA5100_Set_Up_Scene
But this is also my first problem:
I actually have on/off and dim up/down with handheld remote HA09 but only on/off with wall switch CA5100 even though it is capable of raise/lower command
http://www.intouchcontrols.com/~/media/Files/InTouchControls/Products/Instructions/CA5100.ashx
So this is the first question: how to get dim up/down HA03 modules associated with CA5100 ?
f- now to CA3000 and HA04 association. (deck light on CA3000 + backyard lighing on HA04, same setup at front door)
The method I used for CA5100/HA03 using vera doesn’t work, when polled it always reports actual association as node -1 instead of requested one…
So this is my second question : how to create miniscene with a CA3000/HA04 ?
Note that for either CA3000 or CA5100 the direct method of holding paddle down for 10 sec untill blue LED blinks for assocation with other node doesn’t work for me; I don’t get the blue blinker…
