Blue iris plus vera plus jumping through some hoops = entry door intercom

Not the smoothest but getting there if imperihome can support 2 way audio direct from camera.

Got a hikvision mini dome with built in mic at the entry door., configure blue iris for motion trigger on vera

Vera trigger wall mount tablet imperihome to page of entry door cam, use ivms4200 on phone or tab to talk to person at door.

Set sms alerts on motion and u can initiate the conversation even before the person get to the door bell. Not sure if anyone cares. But if u want the process let me know

What model number you using on the dome? I been wanting to get on with audio in it. What speaker is on the outside?

I got a 2532f-IS make sure you get the IS suffix that’s the one with built in mic and audio output It doesn’t have the longest range IR but if it’s for intercom doesn’t matter and it’s tiny

You’ll need an amp to connect the speaker to I use a Lepai 2020A+

Speaker I’m using an ELK-73 it’s almost 2" thick but at least it doesn’t look like a speaker. I mounted mine about 8ft up so it’s not noticable

OK I took it as you found one with a built in speaker. I have seen these.
