In the last week, one of my six Trane T-stats has notified me that the room was too hot. Once it “was” 171F, and the other time 167F. I logged in, polled the node, and the sensor reverted to a reasonable temp.
Anybody else have this?

I have gotten the occasional errant reading from one or another of my temp sensors, quite rare though and usually corrects with the next report
Do you have a SmartSwitch - there is another thread here that says the the data that is sent from the Smartswitch (fairly rapidly) sometimes can get corrupted and then cause weird things to happen. I have one and have had devices that are not even plugged in turn on or off randomly, although not too frequently, so I have not been able to prove it is related to the Smartswitch.
Most of the top threads in this forum seem to be reporting the same thing - erratic and unreliable data being seen randomly, and a “heal” or re-configure only helps for a while.
The question for you is: can you say this only started after the box firmware upgrade? That was my problem starting point for sure.
