As far as I know and checked Vera’s can be bridged so we can create big systems (for example in office buildings). I know that bridging works. I know how it looks in the web interface. But I don’t know how good and fast does the big system works.
The question is - if anyone of you have an experience with such large installations?
in a system with 3 or more vera3 installed…and thinking in use SQremoteHD to control…how SQremote connect ??? to the first vera3 ?
must I elect a vera3 to be a master ?

I have 4 Vera’s bridged. I also use SQremote. Works like a champ. You can add each Vera in the SQ remote so it will talk to all of them and each device individually.
It really has nothing to do with the number of devices but how spread out my house is. I use the multiple Vera’s to ensure 1-2 hops at most to any device via zwave. FWIW I have about 150-200 devices
You have 150 - 200 devices… Dude, that is crazy but cool, if you ever get time could you make a YouTube video walking through your setup. I’ve just started with my setup and am trying to plan the next project to eventually automate the whole house.
I also have others that want me to automate their house as well including one of my clients that just bought a $550k house from me that use to have a control4 system and wants to try Vera this time.
I’m scanning the forums to try to find out how other people are using Vera and the equipment they are using. There really should be a separate forum group dedicated to people listing what they have and possible a video walkthrough to show what Vera and zwave can really do as well as the cost compared to other more expensive systems.
