I am putting in a central AC system which will have no connection at all with the heating system, all I need to control is on/off, temp setting, and cool vs fan only, anyone have reccomendations for best thermostat for this application?
I’m very happy with the Schlage, controls everything and very stable.
I am running 6 of the Trane/Schlage Remote Energy Management T-Stats, two are cooling only as per your description, three are heat only and one is a combined heat-pump with fossil fuel (gas). No problems or issues setting them up or using them regularly with Vera2. I paid an average of $100 each for them although the going price is more like $149.
