Best solution for LED lighting control

Hi

I am looking for advice on the best solution for integrated LED lighting control in Vera. I have an RGBW Fibaro, but control of these seems in its infancy and a little kludgy. Is there an alternative? In addition to accent lighting using LED strips, I want to be able to include GU10 colour changing bulbs in my bathroom and other areas, switched separately to the main (white) spots. I have seen various remote control bulbs that come in GU10. Does anyone know of a version that is controllable by Vera? Has anyone else done something similar to this, and when wiring the lighting circuit, did you include the colour changing ones on a separate, always on circuit controlled only by vera, or another switched circuit? Its harder to put in a separate switched circuit in the bathroom, which just has a pull switch, so I am wondering what others have done in this scenario. My electrician is here next week so just trying to work out what I need him to do.

Thanks

As far a i know, the RGBW Fibaro is by far the best option to control LED lights…

The basic light control works out of the box. We now know that the program are called via one line of luup code + reconfigure action.
Plus, it offer you a wide range of extra features like physical switch, 12v lighting, external sensors, …

Even if it’s not yet completly supported, it’s already a very good deal. Before thinking of a plugin, we first need to figure out how it works.
A pluggin to show a color wheel can already be done but is not very usefull.

Regarding your case, i’m not sure to see what kind of remote controle buld you’re talking about. There is not so much controlable lights. the more common are InfraRed. It works with a SqBlaster (you had to leard the I code). But it’s not as reliable as Zwave.

hope it helps
