Best option for interior camera with motion and IR?

Looking for the best and simplest option for an interior camera with has IR and motion built into it. Which one do people recommend–i’m not wanting something huge, but rather inconspicuous to replace a OLD motion sensor on my house’s old security system.

Foscam FI8910W (and compatible models). See the big thread on Foscam IP Plugin.

Thank you, sir.

I use the Foscam camera’s, the newer FI9810W has great video quality for the price. The other great thing is they work as motion sensors to trigger scenes. They also have a power over Ethernet version which is even better if you can run a network cable to it.

watching thread.

Is there an easy way to go back in your profile and view threads that you Subscribe/Notify to?
You know how with other forums you can subscribe to an thread without email notification. Then down the road you can login in and click view subscribed/saved threads in your profile.

The only way its seems you can with simplemachineforums is to post in a thread you want to save and when your ready to go back and view it down the road click on profile / view posts.

yes, definitely

no, absolutely not. the motion detection is not real, it uses changes in the pixels… and is horrible. light changes are detected as motion. I have tried both the in-camera settings and using the Synology software. DO NOT buy these thinking they will replace real motion sensors (PIR), they will not unless they are placed where your lighting never changes.

AAron,

one time you talk about sensors…

What the best way to work with this in vera3 ?..

exists some board to physically connect all sensors of the home and this board pass real and reliable information to vera3 ?

I have tried homeseer ezmotion but not happy with that.

thanks
