Benext Keypad RFID works on Vera Ui7

Hi,

I finally included the Benext Keypad on my Vera (last firmware), i create a PIN code (dont try a RFID tag yet) and i create a scene where i activate a Wallplug after putting my pin on the Keypad…easy…

But now i want to activate the Away Mode when i write the PIN but i dont know how to do that.

Any idea ?

If you install the HouseModes plugin from the Ui7 app store you will have a new device available in scenes where you can set the 4 different house modes or use the same as triggers.

Thx its a good solution. Its working but the tag reader is not working very well. Sometime i cant use my code.

I tried with RFID Tag but its not working at all. Strange because the tag reader seems to Read and recognize the tag… If somebody have a solution

[ul]I have a VeraPlus with the latest UI7 firmware. I use a Zipato Keypad and it functions very well, both with pincodes and tags (I connected 2 tags one for my wife and one for me). Recently I bought a Benext Keypad (2nd hand for a nice price) for another entrance of our house. Including went well and within my Vera it looks exactly the same as the Zipato (PIN Codes - Settings - Advanced - Device Options - Logs - Notifications) and in the green bar add pin code and add badge. I can add pincodes but NOT badges. I tried various ways and numerous times. Iread through all the topics about both keypads. I also downloaded the Tag Reader plugin. Users on UI5 can/could add one tag using this plugin. But in UI7 also this does not work… As ChuTn3Y mentions it seems like the tag reader recognizes the tag and connects because you hear a beep. This beep sounds somewhat longer than at the Zipato though. Differences that I see under “Advance”"

Zipato: manufacturer = WIntop and version = 3,3,67,0,28
Benext: manufacturer = Wintop-Benext and version = 3,3,42,1,9

Who succeeded in adding badges to the Benext Keypad or can point me in the right direction ?[/ul]

Anyone here with Benext Keypad that got it to work with badges (on UI7) ? I opened also a support ticket at Vera. John M. replied immediately that they will look at it but that is 5 days ago and nothing happened form their side in de meantime… :frowning:
