One would think a battery operated switch- simple one-button controller, wall mounted- would be a common implementation of the z-wave technology. Yet, I don’t seem to be able to find any. Is there such an animal for the US?
Do you have a lot of disposable income?

At least now know something like that exists. I wish it was a simpler (and cheaper) one-button off/on switch.
Another option would be to pick up a insteon plm and any of their battery operated insteon switches. It will come out to be the same price upfront, but will be cheaper over time.

I’m using this:
http://store.homeseer.com/store/GE-45631-Z-Wave-Wireless-Keypad-Controller-P939.aspx
it has 4 buttons for switches or dimmers association.
despite being a scene controller, is not possible associate scenes to your buttons.
