Dear Forum,

I have created my first scene to simply turn on a light according to a schedule. When I run the scene everything works perfect but when I rely on the schedule to activate the light nothing happens.

Please see screen shot of my schedule and let me know what I am doing wrong.

You have the light to come on at 10:30am every day. That’s what you want, correct?

Under the devices tab, you also selected the Balcony Light and pressed the “ON” button? That’s the other part.

Sorry if the questions are simplistic, but we have folks at all levels.

Please see attached the screen shot from the scene. The light “On” has been selected and then moved over to schedules to setup.

when you press “Run Scene” button on your new scene, the light goes on…

Are you certain that you have entered your timezone, city and GPS coordinates correctly?

Yes, when I run manually the light comes on. I also created a light “Off” scene and it too works manually but will not run with the schedule I created??

i tried to get that in the last post but pulled the trigger too quickly

The time in the Vera3 window at the top says 11:36 and the computer says 11:36 so all should be OK

Interesting, when I went back into schedules it said last run was 10:30 !! But obviously no action resulted.

As I understand it, the time that vera displays is your computer’s time, not Vera’s internal clock time. Yeah, odd.

Please check that. Otherwise you may have to put in a trouble ticket. It may have actually ran when vera thought it was 10:30.

Many thanks for all your efforts. I will raise a trouble ticket to see why it will not run as per the scheduler.
