autoroute field in advanced settings - always there?

I just installed two aeotec microswitches, and the are working fine. But I noticed that there is no autoroute field setup in the advanced settings. Neighbor nodes, etc, all look good.

Is this normal?

Do you perhaps have By default Vera should automatically configure devices unchecked?

The autoroute field is absent for battery operated devices and for devices that have not yet been configured by Vera.

For your Aeotec micro switches, I would expect the autoroute field to become populated after a heal or a Configure Node Right Now operation.

Nope… it’s checked.

I have nightly heals turned off … actually, tech support suggested that based on a lockup issue I seemed to be having. Still not sure what that was… but all seems good now.

I though the same thing… and did the “configure node right now”… and still no autoroute field.

Perplexed.

As an aside… this is what the tech support told me about nightly heals, although it seems counter intuitive to me.

You can leave the z-wave nightly heal disabled and run it manually whenever you add a new z-wave device. Simply go to SETUP > Z-wave Settings > Repair and uncheck the option ?Re-configure all the devices when done.? and press on GO.

So, you installed new devices, did you run a heal as they described?

well… I thought I did. ran it again. there now
