Automatically turn on and off lights when not home

Hi,

I want to use a virtual switch to select if I am home or not at home.
When I am not at home, then the living room lights should be turned on when it is getting dark (schedule “sunset”?) and they should be turned off around 22:30, both triggered with some random time.
I have created this with PLEG, but it is not working.
What am I doing wrong?
Please check the attached pdf file.

Kind regards,
Rene.

Looks like you made the changes but did not restart PLEG to use the new changes.
NOTE: There are no schedule times!

Hi,

What do you mean with no schedules?
I have created a schedule based on sunset, please see the attached screenshot.
I had already restarted the complete Vera Edge, so it should be working?

Kind regards,
Rene.

Check back tomorrow … after the schedules run … Post a new status report.

Please check the latest attached status report, it seems fine to me…

Kind regards,
Rene.

Looks like the PLEG logic worked …
Did it run the correct scenes ?

The scenes did not run.
I have programmed PLEG to run scene ID 1 and scene ID 2.
Please check the screenshots, did I configure the run scene action wrong?

I can trigger the individual lights via PLEG without any problems, but starting a scene seems to be a problem.
Also using the scene name instead of the ID number does not work.

Kind regards,
Rene.

I have found the problem;
I was using the “Program Logic Core” to start the scene and this should be the PLEG instance itself (“PLEG Not Home”).
The scenes are triggered fine now!

Kind regards,
Rene.
