Asterix shown after plugin version - what does this mean

Hi everyone,
So under my plugin tab in UI5 all installed plugins show a little asterix * after the version info.
Does anyone know what that means?
Also, aren’t the plugins supposed to be updated automatically when there is a new version out? Mine do not update automatically.

Sorry if this has already been discussed - I can not find my answer anywhere.

This means that the plugin won’t auto-update because a specific version was installed and not the “latest version”. Only when the “latest version” of a plugin is installed, the plugin will be auto-updated.

At least that’s the theory. Did you install the plugin from the Vera UI or from apps.mios.com?

Thanks for your help mcvflorin,
I updated all my apps through apps.mios.com, I made sure I selected the latest version.
However all my plugins do carry the asterix now…
Strange…
