Hi there- I’m needing to control some Z-Wave stuff with my IR remote. I’m assuming I can get a USB IR receiver made for Windows MCE and I’m totally new to Z-Wave / Vera / MCV. I’d love it if there were some step-by-step instructions for doing this? Thanks for the help in advance.

lol, I’ve spent the better part of an hour searching. I’m unable to find a step-by-step guide to this for new users such as myself. I’d love it if you could either post the steps or link to a thread that provides it.
There isn’t one method. Others have used different methods if they could get it to work using different hardware. Hence the reason to search. Another user posted a link to using kira in another thread about an hour ago.

I’ve got no idea what Kira is, I just searched that word and came up with one result -this thread.
When searching, you need to use the search function by clicking the search link. If you search from the search box at the top, it will only search in the current section or topic you are in. That is only one method there are others that people have either used or suggested.
