I bought one but can not get the image to display in vera? What fields are required in the setup?
Just install the Panasonic PTZ Camera Plug-In from Mios Marketplace, then once you have created a camera device just add the IP address, the URL for the still jpeg image, and the username and password. That should be it.
I’ve got one. I got it to work through Vera when it was using the standard port. Now I want to get it to use a different port, so I can connect over the internet and not conflict with my web server. It’s working from the outside on the new port, but I haven’t figured out how to change the Vera settings to connect to a camera through the new port. Anyone know?

I just reread that, and it isn’t very clear. What I want to know is, how do I specify the port in the Vera configuration pages?

Nevermind. The answer is: append it, with leading colon, after the IP address. Duh.

I was having the same problem the other day trying to get it to use a different port at our shop. I could not get it to recognize the camera at all (I’m not a IT type person). Could you do a screenshot showing showing an example of where you put the Ip address in with the port after it? I tried this and it did not want to work properly. Afraid I may not have entered the IP in at the right area or done so properly. I now have a cusotmer with 2 of these camera’s @ there house and they are sending stills fine to the Ivera app but would like to also set them up to view from outside of the network if possible. Thanks for the help in advance!
There is a field called ‘[tt]IP address[/tt]’ under Settings of the device.
Note that to connect to your camera directly from the internet, you don’t necessarily have to change the port the camera is on; you can keep it at 80 (assuming that’s the default). But you’d set up a port mapping in your router from whatever port you pick for external access to port 80. The advantage is that you then don’t have to supply a port number when accessing the camera locally.
