A few year ago, I installed a fancy honeywell AQ2000 furnace controller [url=http://www.forwardthinking.honeywell.com/products/water/aquatrol/aquatrol_feature.html]http://www.forwardthinking.honeywell.com/products/water/aquatrol/aquatrol_feature.html[/url] - one of the reasons I bought it was the idea of connecting it to home automation. It uses special thermostats that communicate over a 2 wire serial bus, instead of regular contact closure type. I’ve just started in with the Vera home automation now, and would like to tie the systems together. I’ve found an open source project called, surprisingly, “Enviracom” [url=http://sourceforge.net/projects/enviracom/]http://sourceforge.net/projects/enviracom/[/url]. Has anyone has success using it? Is anyone interested in teaming up to get it working?
