Any luck with iTach Flex support in Vera ?

I just got mine but it’s not working with Vera . emailed them but no response yet . Any one tried it ?

I’m still waiting for Richard to give it a try though .

I am look for an iTach Flex to test. Someone sent me a regular iTach … I sent it back … since it was already supported.

Rami, it should be pretty simple. This is what I did -

  1. install the Global Cache GC100 App
  2. Download the files Macfly posted
  3. Go to Vera > Apps > Luup Files
  4. “Choose File” on the right, and upload both of those files.
  5. Click on Devices > Add Devices > Add IR Device

Then follow the prompts to add your IR devices.

It worked for most of my devices, but I can’t add my Sony receiver. Any one know where the codes for remote code for these devices come from?

Thanks a lot jumper

This was my first iTach so I was missing to add it device part and found a post on the forum that explains it. Added 2 devices now. TV is fine but I’m having a problem with Denon AVR. Only basic controls are working and couldn’t figure out inputs. Tried to learn codes via ilearn but code didn’t work. Have no idea why.

Hi there,

I have an iTach Flex, and I have downloaded the files that Mcfly posted (thanks) and entered the IP and MAC address in the settings of the GC100 device; the “not found” error went away and it seems to be happy.

However I have fallen at the first hurdle: when I go to the devices tab and click “Add Device” there is no option to add an IR device?

Any help would be much appreciated. I’m on 1.7.513

Adding IR devices in UI7 is not implemented yet and not sure if MCV will be adding this into UI7.
