Another release without release notes? 1.7.1595

Is Vera getting into the habit of releasing firmware without notes? I assume the rapid turnaround for this 1.7.1595 release is due to a serious bug somewhere. Does anyone know what this one does? It looks like a rush job since they didn’t even update the button text!

I don’t see any new firmwares with my edge. You must be a Vera lucky customer :smiley:

Yea. Probably the one item amidst all my tech toys that I don’t want to be the early adopter for. :stuck_out_tongue:

I had the same 1.7.1595 as rmhopper a couple of hours ago. Now it’s gone…

It wasn’t a figment of your imagination, I too notice around noontime (EST) a new down load but then disappeared shortly aftword and has yet to be available. Mike ???

It went away for me on my last check. I think I am very happy I didn’t install it!! Thanksgiving weirdness…

I have just upgraded both my lite & edge to the latest version. It seems it is official now.

Updating my Lite as I type. Wonder if it’s to address the missing file problem some users were experiencing?

I just check my Vera notification and my latest available upgrade is not to 1.7.1595 but 1.7.1598. So go figure!

Well I bit the bullet and installed perfectly. No issues ‘yet’.

ATTENTION!

I WARN YOU! DO NOT UPDATE.

My total vera is “empty”. I see some devices after updating but it looks like everything is gone. I do see Fahrenheit instead of Celcius and all device names are gone

The only issue I have is UI7.

I will now try to login and restore from backup.

Domoticz here we come…

Mine has updated itself :o I didn’t press any buttons and it never said it had an update but now shows running 1.7.1598

I upgraded my vera3 and vera lite with no issues.

Luup still crashes every two hours, but at least we’ve not gone backwards.
