Android widget for Vera devices ?

Hi,

Has anyone found a way of getting the status of a Vera device into a widget running on Android ?

Am thinking of simple things such as External temperature, status of this/that switch etc. without having to launch a full fat app. like Imperihome /Vera.

I do this by using Tasker on Android. I have Tasker send HTTP requests to Vera, then interprets the results.

Unfortunately, it did take a little effort to initially set up.
