From what I read at https://www.andersenwindows.com/-/media/andersenwindows/files/verilock-connect/integrations_compatibility_wireless-open-close_technical-spec-sheet.pdf, the translator connects to Wink, which you can then connect to Vera. I like the idea of knowing if a window/door was left unlocked, in addition to open.
