Altsteon--Progress made! "Device not ready" error?

I’ve managed to get Altsteon up and running and added a motion sensor using altsteon_cli which seems to be working–when I wave my hand in front of it I generate the following in a terminal session:
[INFO ] [2/1/2014 - 10:16:56] - Broadcast cmd1 = 11 cmd2 = 01
[INFO ] [2/1/2014 - 10:16:56] - 27.8D.A8 is open.

I’m using an Insteon 2842-222 motion sensor and would just like to set it up to ultimately turn on a light switch. I’ve added the device through UI5 with the following settings:

Device_type: urn:schemas-micasaverde-com:device:MotionSensor:1
Internal ID: 27.8D.A8, 10, 01
Upnp device filename: D_MotionSensor1.xml
Upnp implementation filename: I_InsteonTriggerSensor.xml
Parent device: plm

The device seemed to add correctly, but when I click “arm” I get a “Device not ready” error.

At the top of the Vera UI, I do see the following:
ERROR : Error in lua for scenes and events
plm[9] : Starting Lua Engine
Not sure if this is related.

Any help would be very appreciated–the forums have been great and I’m so glad to have gotten this far!

So I’m embarrassed to post this, but I figure it may help someone else along the way. I finally sat down to try again and with a fresh head realized that I had missed one of the Luup files?ahem, yes the one that controls the plm. Feel like an idiot, but so nice to actually have something working! It’s a bit sad how excited I am to get a text when a motion sensor trips!! Now to get started playing with the real stuff
