I just finished installing the alsteon module. It took me a while to get it going, but that is a lesson in reading the directions! After uploading all the correct files and dropping the words “” from the start-up script, Everything is working as expected. The dimmer for the light is showing the the lamp dimmer icon, however the fan and the Fanlight place holder have a broken link where the icon should be. I realize this is a small thing, but what did I miss that would cause this? I would like to correct this just for the aesthetics not because it is a functionality problem.

Make sure all the required files are uploaded. Also clear the cache from the browser. It could be a browser issue.

A little late to the party on this one.

There is no fan icon included with the Vera (that I could find), so you should see the default “blue ball/gear thingy” icon for the fan control portion. This isn’t a bug, it is by design. If someone out there is graphically capable, I would be happy to include a fan icon with Altsteon. If I drew it, you would end up with an icon that looks like it was run over by the ugly truck.
