Allow us to vote for new features

I think MCV should create an account on a service like UserVoice.com or IdeaScale.com and allow us to post ideas for new features or improvements to Vera and let us vote for the ones that are most important to us. This would be a great way for MCV to get a feel for where they should be focusing their attention and development time.

Just an idea.

I’d like to start with scene/zone controller association. Think Essentials does this task without much effort.

I believe you’re looking for something better than “new poll” on your right top. Confession I did not visit those sites you mentioned.

What’s makes sites like UserVoice.com better than forum voting is that each person only gets a certain number of votes to spread out over the features they want. So, for example, if each person is given 10 votes, then they can choose to place 1 vote for 10 different features, or they could instead place 1 vote for 3 different features that they’d like to see, 2 votes for a couple other features that they want even more, and 3 votes for one feature that they can’t live without. Then, whichever features people care the most about will acquire the most votes and rise to the top of the list.
