Alexa TTS (Text-To-Speech) [and more] plug-in for Vera

There’s a new version with auto renewing tokens, but in my first tests is not really stable. I’ll continue to test this route and report back any news.

I can’t find the answer, does account with MFA works on vera with 7.32 firmware or just on openluup?

MFA is openluup only.

I have been looking to install this because I would like to have Alexa report what devices are tripped and when they trip like a security system might. I know with some work this would be feasible. Is this still working and supported? I’m curious on feedback whether it would be worth the effort.
Thank you.
Regards,
Tim

I’ve moved away from Vera, so it should work but it’s not supported. YMMV.

Hmm. If its no longer supported I’m not sure I want to go through the frustration.

sorry therealdb, I’m trying to install Alexa TTS on my Vera Secure but I had to delete the device and put it back.
When I installed it again I can’t connect to my Alexa and I have this error

cookie does not exist. logging in ... ERROR: Amazon Login was unsuccessful. Possibly you get a captcha login screen. Try logging in to https://alexa.amazon.it with your browser. In your browser make sure to have all Amazon related cookies deleted and Javascript disabled! (For more information have a look at /storage/alexa/.alexa.login) To avoid issues with captcha, try using Multi-Factor Authentication. To do so, first set up Two-Step Verification on your Amazon account, then configure this script (or the environment) with your MFA secret. Support for Multi-Factor Authentication requires 'oathtool' to be installed.

I haven’t two step verification and I don’t know how to access to /storage/alexa/.alexa.login.

Can you help me?

I did all the steps about the cookie (Firefox, cookies extension…) and it’s working well, but not for a long time.
After several minutes, it’s not working anymore and the .alexa.cookie is disapeared from storage/alexa repository ?!?!
