This post has existed for this issue for 4 months now, and the last reply from support was over 2 weeks ago (and of no substance as far as what is going on with this problem or any kind of estimate on a fix) - direct replies from support are no better. Can we get any kind of actual information on the problem and potential resolution?
Hello @stim
We have more than one Alexa thread, and this one has been updated more frequently: Alexa not working - #32 by JonathanB
Our team deployed a fix yesterday, and it solved the issue for some customers, but it still persists for others. Could you please give it another try and let us know if it works on your side?
So why don’t you consolidate the threads?
When do you anticipate the problem will be fixed for all users?
Hello @Tim88,
Unfortunately, we don’t have an ETA for the resolution yet, but our team is actively working on it and we’ll share an update as soon as we have more information.
It’s been 18 days since this post. Is there really NO information you can share in that time?
Hello Jonathan,
Any progress to report? So many of us are affected. Please give us an update.
Hello everyone,
Thank you all for your patience while we investigated this issue. It appears that the Alexa integration problem has now been resolved on our side. Could you please try again on your systems and let us know if everything is working as expected? If you still encounter any issues or have any feedback, please share it here so we can look into it further.
I was able to enable mine and get all of my devices responding. Fingers crossed.
I am unable to link again. Alexa.getvera.com fails to load
Looks like it’s working again.
I cannot enable again. Could you reset my account if needed?
Thx,
Doug
Hello everyone,
The Alexa integration with Vera is now working normally again and the alexa.getvera.com service has been restored. Please try using Alexa with your Vera controllers once more and check that your devices and scenes respond as expected.
If you notice any remaining issues, please let us know in this thread, including details such as your controller model, region, and any error messages you see, so we can investigate further.
Thank you again for your patience and feedback.
I was able to link the vera skill to Amazon Alexa and now i can use my voice commands. Thank you for fixing this. I did buy a elzo secure and one day i will figure out how to use it. For now i have a vera secure that has been rock solid. I also have a vera plus that works rock solid. I wish they kept with the old platform cause it just works .
