The official getvera plugin for Alexa is available in beta form. See the announcement in the Official Announcements forum. Results are a mixed bag from working to not working but as said, it’s a beta.
This will be absolutely awesome. I would definitely by more Echos around the house than the one I have. I am rootin for ya!

How is your skill coming along? Hopefully you have not been discouraged or abandoned the idea simply because of the beta Vera Alexa integration. The integration is nice and works just fine however it seems to be limited in what it can do and most likely will continue to be limited for quite some time. The BW Systems bridge is wonderfully robust but a “skill” would be PERFECT to fill in the holes. Example: Alexa ask Vera, what is the temperature in the garage. Or, ask Vera what doors are open. Stuff like that where your Vera hub can be polled and report back.
