Hello. Apologies for another fob question, but i\ve read all the search results and i’m still really confused.
I have just got a z-wave.me key fob. love the thought of it, and i want it to activate 8 separate scenes held in vera. I understand that you activate scenes trigger no.1 for remote button 1 etc, then deactivate a scene of the same button number for a long press - well, that’s what i’m aiming for.
I have added (then removed, then re-added) the device and a scene controller is in my Vera Lite.
(There is nothing in the key fobs “scene” tab though like other screen shots i have seen, but in the “control” table it does say the button number = scene number.)
I cannot get a scene to be triggered by the remote. i’ve tried all the numbers as a trigger, but they don’t get triggered by a button press.
Do i need to change the fob’s parameters at all to do the scene thing?
The rubbish manual says that maybe parameter 11, 12, 13, and 14 might need to be set to 4 (4 byte dec?) for “send scenes” but that doesn’t work either.
