Has anymore had a problem with a slow response with Vera. I have a smart home environment with about 5 controlled lights. Just added an Aeotec micro smart dimmer as I have brown switches in my home but now it takes more than a minute to turn lights on and off. Any thoughts? Has anymore experience a slow response and is there any way to help improve this?? Thanks in advance.
This type of behavior is not necessarily Aeon specific. It is most commonly caused by poor device reachability either due to signal coverage or routing.
While a network heal might resolve your issue, you will likely need to improve the Z-Wave networks coverage by adding intermediate Z-Wave nodes. I frequently recommend using a GE/Jasco 45603 Lighting Control Fluorescent Light & Appliance Module as a portable node for testing and siting the best locations for intermediate nodes.
