Hey guys, I bought a Motor Switch and want to test it out with an open / close type window, It seems that the device has M1 and M2 lines for separate motors. The windows have 3 wires, 1 for the line, 1 for the Open, 1 for the Close wire. It seems that the device needs 1 line and 1 motor line, So I tried adding it with vera, It shows an open/close button but the problem is If I attach the open wire, it will open but not close, same as changing the motor line using the close wire. So is there a way that the I can send a parameter on just 1 wire so it can read open and close?
Is it going to work? Thanks
Not sure if I am understanding correctly but I thing this device is two motors run stop OR one motor forward and reverse. Motor 1 can be forward and motor 2 reverse.
Hi Slarti about that we have a window in the store that has some issues, it seems that the switch it has open and close wires, so the problem I’m having is that if I just attach the “open” wire to the motor controller it will open, but it would not close. Same if I changed the wires. I was wondering if there should be like a parameter needed to use for the device to read open/close with just one wire attached.
The window has a line wire, and the Open and Close wires, but the motor controller just needs 2 wires I think for the Neutral and the M1 since its just 1 motor.
