I have a number of these around the house powered via USB talking to a VeraLite running UI5. They work fine, but some of them are showing that they are using 40W or more! They are all configured with the same parameters, so I can’t distinguish anything that would cause this.
Has anyone else seen this behaviour?

Yes, it’s a common problem for battery powered devices, for some reason. Your best bet is to set the offending variable to zero, but you might also want to set the device variable urn:micasaverde-com:serviceId:EnergyMetering1,UserSuppliedWattage to zero.

Thanks, I set the variable to zero, but it just shows 0W now. Could you elaborate on how to set the device variable urn:micasaverde-com:serviceId:EnergyMetering1,UserSuppliedWattage to zero?
