Aeon Touch Panel questions

Guys,

this http://www.amazon.com/Touch-Panel-Button-Switch-AL-001/dp/B00GL6C3DY/ref=cm_cd_al_qh_dp_t product requires the Aeon Micro switch behind it.

However, there are 2 different kind of micro switches from Aeon. One switch module and one dimmer module.
Switch: http://www.amazon.com/Aeon-Labs-Aeotec-Z-Wave-Edition/dp/B008VWAPU4/ref=cm_cd_ql_qh_dp_i
Dimmer: http://www.amazon.com/DSC19103-ZWUS-Aeotec-Z-Wave-Energy-Edition/dp/B008VW8NYE/ref=pd_sim_e_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=10S6T135VJ5HRXTPS363

With that said nobody can answer the following questions:
A) Will the touch panel support dimming? E.g. Push once = ON, Push again = OFF, Push and Hold = Dimming … OR … Is the dimming function ONLY available via Z-wave?
B) I found the following wiring diagrams http://aeotec.com/support/1219-micro-switch-wiring-schematics.html and they are pretty detailed but the comments about not using a dimmer at the beginning are concerning to me. Also they are showing with live wiring and without live wiring while the Touch panels don’t specify if they need live wiring or not. Question here is: Can you replace existing 3-way and 4-way switches with those Touch panels and the corresponding Micro switches? I am not an electrician but I would assume that my existing 3-way switches use live wire.

Thanks for any advice upfront guys.

I am also considering to buy the touch panel so I have done some reading on it. As it turns out, the Q&A section has the two answers to your question. Assuming those owners are correct.

A. Yes, you can configure it as documented in the instruction manual.
B. No, only one micro switch is allowed in each 3, 4, or n way configuration, and the panel has to be powered by the 3V from the micro switch. In essence, you can only have one micro switch and one panel for each of the 3, 4-way switches, kinda sad since I would love to have a consistent look on all switches.

Thanks. That means that is a NO GO on my side.

Anyone having issues with the Touch Panel?

I have a question about this thing, it seems that when I press it and its On it will go off, and when I move my hands and let go it will turn On again.

Is there anything that I’ve done wrong with the installation?

Anyone know how to wire this up to the nano series?

The Aeotec Micro Dimmer 2 requires:
Decice Options - Variable 120 1 byte decimal value 0 to fix the problem with lights not remaining switched on after releasing your finger from the Touch Panel.
