AEON reed sensor stuck triggered

Can anyone offer some help on a “stuck on” AEON door and window magnetic sensor? When I trip the sensor (red indicator) it sometimes gets stuck in the tripped state. I can force it to off (tripped =0) by changing the state in the advanced tab, and saving. Then I can trip it again, but it may get stuck on tripped again. One possibilitiy is I’m losing the signal, since I’ve had some problems with routing recently since trying the MIOS routing, but the move into the trip state seems pretty reliable. It just won’t reset by itself when I close the reed switch.

Thanks

Yes, I’ve got the same and it is very annoying.

Two sensors are installed virtually in the same place (SM103 and Aeon) - Aeon sometimes stuck…
Especially when I’m opening and closing a door really fast.

There are some other users who complaining about the same.

Probably, we should contact Aeon?

I’ve created the support ticked

Could you please do the same? Just to confirm that the problem is not happens only with mine?

I’ve been working on my problem some more and I’m now thinking my problem is inconsistent polling or bad routing. I believe this to be the case becasue some of my sensors and notification are working - I get the correct email, but the UI4 isn’t in sync with what is going on. For the devices I can “poll now” I can manually trigger updates which are inconsistent with the previous UI4 screen. The problem is battery powered devices like the AEON sensor can’t be manually polled.

This all started going wrong when I turned on MIOS routing. I’ve gone back to zwave routing, but some of my sensors are not working right, and polling is definitely messed up. If anyone can suggest how to make sure polling happens I’d appreciate it. I have “poll nodes” set on the zwave options, and all deviecs have “Poll this node at most once every” set to 60 seconds on the settings tab. One frustrating issue is some devices are polling fine, and others don’t. For example one of my Wayne Dalton thermostats polls fine, and the other does not poll automatically, even though I’ve made sure all the advanced settings are the same.

If you have a device that is not responding to the poll, the polling stops there and restarts at the next interval with the first device. Thus any devices that are after the device that is not responding do not get polled.
