Aeon Labs Smart Energy Switch- Load Sensing?

I can’t seen to find the answer to this question online.

I bought a couple Aeon Labs DSC06106-ZWUS smart energy switches on sale intending to use them with Christmas decorations.

I have no other use for plug in modules since the only things I use are two end table lamps but these must also be able to function via switches on the lamp (mandatory for WAF). Do the smart switches support load monitoring so if I turn a lamp on via the switch it registers it and allows it to turn on?

Tl;dr- I want to turn on/off the lamps via BOTH z-wave and manual switch on the lamp.

No load sensing is not supported.

The load sensing lamp modules aren’t great for automation as the lamp switch could be turned off and you can’t use Z-Wave to turn on the light.

See this thread for a better way to have both Z-Wave and local control of lamps.

Interesting, and maybe I’ll consider it in the future.

It’s not something I really planned on. Just figured since I have the Smart Energy Switch I could find a use for it.

Thanks.
