I have an Aeon Labs Aeotec Key Fob. I have set it up as a scene controller. Keys 1 through 4 function properly with a short button press. Keys 5 through 8 do not function properly with a long button press (nothing happens). My understanding is that you should be able to trigger 8 scenes. I can only trigger four scenes. Does anyone know what needs to be done to activate triggers for scenes 5-8? Eight scenes show under the control tab in Vera 3…

Spectacular!. Scenes 5-8 now work. I would have never figured that out on my own. It is not intuitive. The 3rd link is exactly what I needed. A little confusing to think through but I got it on first try.
Now all I have to do is tattoo the scene legend on my wrist!

OK. to get this to work on my VeraEdge running UI7 the trick was to add the device and then set the number of buttons to 8 and assigned the scenes. I still couldn’t make the secondary or extended buttons work, so I went into the scenes that I wanted to use for the extended buttons and added a trigger for Scene (1-4 button number that corresponds to the extended button) deactivate. Now they are all working! Nothing in the instructions I have found seemed to indicate that this was necessary, but it solved my problem.
