These sensors are driving me nuts. I can’t any more than about 30 days of battery life. I have disabled the the configure device. Both claim to have year to 2 years battery.
Is everybody having this same problem?
I use 2500Ah nimh rechargeables and go months and months between changes.sorry can’t say how long exactly because its so infrequent I can’t remember exactly.
there’s a configuration for how often to wake up. Did you fiddle with that? Mines set at wake interval 1800 seconds. (On settings tab)
Not sure if that’s default or if I backed it off.
mine last months. I got them in April and have changed them once, well before they ran down.
That’s the default.
I am about ready to hook them to a 5v wall wart. I am tired of changing out batteries every month. They advertise years. Instead I am getting days. The lamp modules is pretty relieable or at least my Home Settings are.
Mine are crappy too…I tried rechargeables but they are lower voltage and this triggers Vera to think they are running out (low battery indicator Icon) - neither work for more than a few weeks at best for me and I set my wakeup to 14400 and never poll. I’m also thinking of going to a wall wart, especially for the 2 HRDS1 sensors on my garage doors
I have the same with my HRDS1’s, they used to last a long time but not any more.
