Aeon 4in1 not updating Temp or Lux

Hi Guys,
I have a Vera Edge UI7 and a couple of Aeon 4in1 Sensors and some lights (just getting started). One of my Sensors works fine as a motion detector but the temp, lux and humidity readings never change. Is there a setting I can use to force it to update or is there a diagnostic I can run to find out what’s going on with it (command line)? I tried pulling the batteries on the sensor and trying again and the readings changed but they are stuck again. Any help from an experienced user would be appreciated. I was hoping to use the temp sensos with the z-Wave enabled air vents to regulate temps in my home but if I can’t trust the sensors I’m not going to spend the money.
Thanks

I think those update when Motion is detected. (It piggy backs the Z-Wave transmission for motion)

I believe there is a way to tell it to report when a change is detected … but then batteries die much quicker.

So is there a way to diagnose the issue or should I just remove the device and start over? Is there a way to see the traffic or to enable debugging?

You can look at the logs in vera which is as close to diagnostics you’ll get. I’m mobile, so you’ll have to do a search for Vera logs. Google search will be a better search utility. You either ssh into Vera and look into /var/log/cmh/LuaUPnP.log or use the Vera real time log viewer which is accessible via the browser.

Thanks, I’ll look at those tomorrow and see what turns up.

You can test pretty quickly … Turn off all the lights … Then trigger the motion sensor … see if the LUX changes.

Do something similarly after you sure the temp has changed. May take a little longer …
