I have a problem with with Aeon multi sensor, i’ve been struggling the configure it, but no i use the Beta and it seems ok. The only problem no is that when i changed fram batteries to USB power it dosen’t update the sensor data anymore. I have tried full power exl/incl a couple of times. And idea anybody?
I’ve just bought one of these AEON’s… is it the round ball type sensor? I’ve not set mine up yet but I’ll try tonight and see if I get the same problem.
Will let you know

Great, Yes that’s the one. If I press the configure button on Vera, then the sensor data get updated, so no i have made a scene that configures the sensor every x minutes, and in that way I get the sensors data update … It is not a optimal solution but until I have solved the problem so it becomes.
Hey Frode
Did some testing last night, my sensor wouldn’t even pair with the Vera properly! I had lots of trouble with it, it kept failing when updating ‘user configuration’. I found this link:

It says we need to upgrade the firmware on the sensor which I did last night but it still didn’t work properly. It also says there’s a firmware that supports the sensor but you need to raise a ticket for it. Then I found this link:

Unfortunately it looks like this sensor is just troublesome with our setup. I think I’ll send it back.
Hey! It sounds like the problem I had. I sent a ticket to support and got a link to the beta upgrade. I have also upgraded the sensor. It is equally strange, because the movement detection has always seemed to work out fine… No i am waiting for support to respond my last troubble ticket. I don’t think i will return mine, I hope soon there will be a new upgrade that will make the 4-1 work properly. But I must admit that this gave a lot of trouble… You have to press the black botton 2-3 times to make it wake up every time you configure it, untill you have all the sensors and data on your dashbord.
Yes I noticed that too. I’m not keen on running a beta firmware though! There are a few bugs in the current firmware so I’m not sure I want to add to those :
Good luck!
