Advice in installing a Zwave network

Hello All

I have my friend’s house who wants to join the Zwave club and install zwave products in his house
in my house there is only 20 devices but is his case i will need like 50 devices
what i want is an advice on how to install them, like the far ones first then the closest ones (to the vera ofcourse) to build the perfect routing table
Do I need manual routing or the auto routing will be ok?

I don’t know exactly what the best strategy is, but starting farther out doesn’t seem to make sense to me. If the devices are too far away, Vera can’t communicate with them, and you’d need something in the middle to act as a repeater. If that’s the case, you might as well start closer.

You can always “heal” the network after you add devices, so Vera will reconfigure routes after testing for timing, reliability, etc.

i will power my vera via the battery to include devices. and after that I will heal the network

omg!
i healed the network and i lost all my devices :frowning:
what i have done is that i went to Zwave > Repair > Repair the network
i pressed go and after a while all my devices are “Unable to reach”
the interface (UI4) is colored with blue and red
please tell me what to do!
