I a new to Vera3 having been using Homeseer for several years. I am trying out Vera since Homeseer never reach a stable state and constantly are missing nodes in my network pluss other bugs. I have a question about setting up more advanced triggers. As far as I understand the basic “out of the box” Vera3 only handles one trigger pr. scene which I find strange and think that I have not been able to find out how to expand this. One example of what I am looking for is like follows:
Turning on the light in the house at a given luminance (requires one trigger)
Doing this differently in the weekend than on ordinary week days (Can be solved with schedules)
Doing this differently during the night
Defining virtual paramters that can override the scene ( requiers another trigger to be logically AND with the others)
I am living in Scandinavia so energy control is of interest and escpesialy to control the heating such that the temp is lowered during the nigh and the day when no one is in the house
Setting the temp set point dependent on time of day
Reducing it during night and day
Automatically overriding this if there is presence in the house through motion detectors.
Controlling the applied power dependent on outside temp
All this requires that several events can be considered before triggering the change temp event
I am also looking for a log that shows at all time which events has been triggered and other important information. Without such debuging is close to impossible.
I have found a APP : Program Logic event Generator. Is this the way to go or is it some capability in the basic Vera3 UI5 I have missed.
Please forgive me if this is trivial questions and please point me in the right direction.
