Hello, im trying to integrate my Samsung A/C Split into vera using itach… but i cant match the codes to work with ilearn… has anyone done this or with a similar brand Split AC brand?

i know this is more an iTach post but i will appreciated the help…

its a samsung minisplit AC… IR Remote model ARC-1404…

also a Hex code Database will fix my problem, becouse my main problem is iLearn not getting the full Code or something…

My understanding of A/C remotes is that they work a bit differently than a TV remote. When you press a button on an A/C remote it does not just send a single command, it sends a string of codes that gives the entire configuration for the A/C.

For instance if the remote is set to 72 degrees, cooling mode, fan low, and you change the fan to high, the remote sends “72 degrees, cooling mode, fan high” all at once. So even if the iTach can learn this you’ll have to teach it each specific mode that you want to use.
