5 amp variable speed fan control Z-Wave replacement?

I see questions like this get asked on this forum and I’m not sure if I’m finding the correct parts that apply to me.
I have a continuously variable house exhaust fan that is currently controlled by a 5 Amp 2 wire (plus ground) rotary switch:
Leviton 611-06616-00I Trimitron Fan Speed Control

I would like to replace it with a z-wave compatible switch like this:
Leviton VRF01-1LZ Vizia RF + 1.5A

but with one that can handle the load.
Is there anything like this that can handle 5 Amp x 600w?
Will this work with it, and is it controlable with the Vera Lite?
INSTEON 2474DWH SwitchLinc 2-Wire RF Remote Control Dimmer

Does this switch work with an inductive load like a fan motor?

If not, is there a z-wave compatible possibility?
If not a single switch, would it be possible to control on/off with a z-wave relay and control speed with the existing rotary switch? If so, which one and how would one go about wiring it? Does such a relay exist that can be controlled by z-wave and manually at the switch location?
Thanks!
