4 gang box

Probably not an easy solution for this but I have a 4 gang box loaded with Leviton switches. The 2 center switches often can’t communicate with Vera unless I do a quick reset on them (popping the switch rocker up for a second). I can sometimes get one of them to start working if I send the Off command before trying to turn it on but the other is a bit more stubborn. I suspect that’s just too many switches, to close together but was wondering if anyone had a fix for this, other than removing the switches.

I have multiple 3 and 4 gang boxes in my setup and a 5 gang box at my parents house with no issues - how far away is the gang box from your Vera - how do the neighbors look on the 2 center switches?

Not sure what you’re asking here.

How big is the load on the switches? Cannot speak specifically for Leviton, but I know other brands will not work well in a 4 gang environment due to lack of heat dissipation.

Don’t know off the top of my head but it’s high. Switch one controls 5 recessed incandescents, switch 2 controls fan light, switch 3 controls fan, switch 4 controls 4 recessed incandescents.

Generally, according to Leviton, that is probably fine (400W Max in multi install). Does the cover plate feel hot to the touch in normal use?

Nope, it’s not warm.
